Accounts Payable Specialist
A-1 Pest Control in Lenoir seeks a full-time Accounts Payable Specialist, a friendly and organized individual interested in joining a growing, family-owned pest control service company!Our Accounts Payable Specialist will support the accounting department while maintaining compliance with federal, state, and local guidelines and regulations.
Responsibilities for our Accounts Payable Specialist will include:
Process incoming accounts payable invoices and related documents for approval Prepare and process invoices in QuickBooks accurately and timely Review and verify vendor statements as needed Management of pending approved accounts payable Establish new vendors following company policies Identify and resolve any discrepancies between purchase orders and invoices Manage deposits made on required purchase orders Maintain 1099 vendor files for accuracy and current date W9s for tax reporting Prepare and process weekly vendor payments Management and reconciliation of multiple credit card accounts Cleaning supply order placement and management Special projects Act as the primary backup to the Accounts Receivable Specialist during absences Help with payroll as needed Requirements for our Accounts Payable Specialist will include:
Work schedule 8 AM to 5 PM, Monday through Friday HS Diploma Two years of accounts payable or accounting experience QuickBooks experience Reliable transportation Ability to work on-site at our corporate office in Lenoir This is not a remote position; we prefer candidates who live within 20 minutes of our corporate office Benefits for our Accounts Payable Specialist include:
