Summary:
Diagnoses, repairs and maintains machinery and mechanical equipment of the assigned business unit, to include robots, motors, pneumatic tools, production machines and equipment.
ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES &
Responsibilities:
Detects malfunctions and discusses machine operation variations with Lead to diagnose problems or repair machines.
Dismantles defective machines and equipment and installs new or repaired parts.
Assists with set ups on new machines.
Assembles, installs, and maintains hydraulic and pneumatic equipment.
Ability to operate machine tools, to include grinder and drilling.
Ability to complete repairs and basic fabrication.
Ability to use the business unit's system of record for tracking work and work orders.
Operates cutting torch or welding equipment to cut or join metal parts.
Maintains company's attendance standards.
Adheres to company safety policies.
Must have own tool set (Industrial Mechanic Tools).
Performs maintenance and repair of existing equipment.
Works with other maintenance team members, and leadership, to troubleshoot, repair and implement new and improved methods, to assure equipment is performing at peak efficiency.
Qualifications:
Strong industrial electrical background (480 V - 3Phase) is preferred.
Associate degree (A.
A.
) from two-year college or technical school Or five years of successful maintenance experience or equivalent combination of education and experience CERTIFICATES AND LICENSES Forklift license KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES REQUIRED:

Good organizational skills and the ability to handle multiple projects/activities/goals.
Must be able to work well with others, build partnerships and support team members.
Excellent verbal and written communications skills.
